| Welcome to the textile section of Lydia Johnston's Art Gallery. Lydia Johnston's contemporary textile art has an Asian feel to it. Her designs are simple yet elegant with an asymmetry that draws the eye around the piece. The artist hand-dyes all of her materials. Color blocks are layered upon each other collage-style, then color accents are overlaid completing the piece. Johnston's work has been exhibited widely and hangs in many private collections. |
